Summit Pointe Realty, LLC announced today that development of the first three blocks of Phase Two of their $300 million urban mixed-use community is now underway. Phase Two, with an estimated investment of $150 million to $175 million, will break ground in February 2019 on the first 133 units of 700 total living units with ground floor retail space as well as a six-story, 150,000 square-foot office building featuring a complementary ground floor restaurant and retail spaces.

Summit Pointe Realty, LLC announced today that it has selected CBRE|Hampton Roads (CBRE) to lease the office and retail components of Summit Pointe, a new mixed-use development in the Greenbrier area. CBRE will provide development consultation and leasing services for Class A office space and retail and restaurant space. Summit Pointe is presently zoned to develop 1.0 million square feet of office space and 500,000 square feet of retail space.

Construction Update

Located in the dynamic Greenbrier business community of Chesapeake, VA, Summit Pointe is the newest large-scale, mixed-use community centrally located within Coastal Virginia. Summit Pointe has already become a premier office location with the recent completion of the 510,000-square-foot, high-rise office tower for Dollar Tree, Inc (NASDAQ: DLTR) in Phase One.

Representing a projected investment of over $300 million in multiple phases, Phase Two emphasizes a new form of urban living, workplace solutions, dining, entertainment venues and shopping options. The construction in Phase Two is scheduled to start in early 2019, with the first living units, retail and office spaces delivered in early 2020.

Phase One development continues with the October 2018 delivery and occupancy of the headquarters tower for Dollar Tree, Inc. (NASDAQ: DLTR).

Phase Two has broken ground on the first 135 of 700 total living units with ground floor retail space as well as a six-story office building.
The Phase Two office building is scheduled for completion in early 2020, in the same timeframe as the Helix complex across the street.
Phase One contains the Dollar Tree headquarters campus, while Phase Two contains an urban mixed-use community focused on Summit Pointe’s main street: Belaire Avenue.
Development of the first three blocks of Phase Two is currently underway featuring the first living community and a state-of-the-art office building.
